Spring 2024 F1 Olive Eggers are borne of our White Legbar and Cream Legbar blue layers under Black Copper Marans males, the classic first-cross olive egger recipe. Expect a rich dark sage to medium olive color and maybe blooms and speckles. As a first generation cross, our F1 Olive Eggers are guaranteed to carry one blue gene and one white egg shell gene with brown pigment depositing genes— your guaranteed green layer and the only sexed offering for Spring 2024.

Hens will usually grow out to be Legbar body type (smaller, crest) with either all black plumage or black body with a copper neck, often with feathered shanks.

Note: As a sexlinked cross, males will have a white dot on their heads. You will receive only females!
