Description

Our Ermine cockerel males are offspring of our Ermine line— bred since fall of 2021 out of a cross between Becky Poulton’s Ermine Ams and Brad Stonebarger’s solid Black Ams. Every single Ermine patterned Ameraucana is a little different, but you can expect good type and conformation, crisp co-dominant black and white plumage, more-than-ample muffs and beards, and eggs that register as A7, A9, A11, and A15 on the Ameraucana Alliance egg color reference chart, with an occasional saturated B2, B6 or C5.

We have just 1 young ermine male available currently. Keeping an Ermine male for your backcross to blue projects will inject dominate white into your flock— you can make F1 paint olive eggers!

Shipping:

Note: local pickup is preferred. Please choose local pickup at checkout for $0 shipping fee.

Shipping is expensive on juvenile birds, calculated by USPS Priority Express by weight. Normally ONE PULLET can fit in a special live bird box and I charge $150 flat rate. If costs to your location are more (often they will be) I will cover the difference. At July 4, we have some young sexed pullets and cockerels and can ship two per box, for a limited time.

More pictures showing the range of plumage in our later generation and backcrossed olive eggers coming soon!
