[Sold Out/Backordered to 2026 Season] Dark Olive Egger Backcrossed to Blue Pullet
$100.00
Description
Backcrossed to Blue Olive Eggers
We’ve put our resident olive egger hens back under their parentage to condense traits. Back crosses tend to deepen the olive egg color to a rich and darker olive, or can sometimes result in a mauve egger if the blue gene is lost. Backcrossed to Ameraucana hens are guaranteed to lay an olive egg egg because we’ve reinjected a blue egg shell gene under the darker olive and bark colors, which may even help our eggs toward spearmint/teals.

Note: local pickup is preferred. Please choose local pickup at checkout for $0 shipping fee.
Shipping is expensive on juvenile birds, calculated by USPS Priority Express by weight. One pullet can fit in a special live bird box and I charge $150 flat rate which puts me close to cost. If costs to your location are more I will cover them.
Because one pullet can be shipped per box, please do not order more than 1 pullet per transaction! 😉
